Prologue: Sanjay B Dalal felt a connection with The Bhagavad Gita when he saw and heard the discourse of Swami Chinmayananda as a young teenager in Ahmedabad, Gujarat; over two decades later, when Sanjay met Vedic Scholar Prabha Duneja in Fremont, California in 2003, his connection with The Bhagavad Gita grew deeper. Prabhaji presented to Sanjay not only the holy book but also her audio recordings and translations (sadly, Prabhaji began a new journey in 2019.) Sanjay’s parents Bharat and Asha also inspired him to read and understand the Bhagavad Gita, especially when he was going through tough times in the mid- nineties. Sanjay has been reading and listening to the teachings of The Bhagavad Gita by Swami Chinmayananda, Eknath Easwaran, Lars Martin Fosse and other authors (recently even chatGPT) over the past many years. Sanjay finds answers to many of the life’s toughest questions in The Bhagavad Gita.
